Starting with the Gaemat Ceremony(Opening Ceremony) at Hyanggyo, the Festival of Taste unfolds in various ways, and colorful banners blowing in the wind catch the eye while announcing the festival on the quiet Hyanggyo-gil.

From Hyanggyo-gil to Cheonbyeon-gil and the road to Hanbyeokru, there are many things to see while walking around as the scale of the festival is large. You have to move diligently to watch a Bebap performance at the intersection of Hyanggyo-gil, see cute props at Dongheon-gil Market and Eoullim Market, and meet exotic Bibim foods at the Bibap Jumak and Bibap Food Court.

Jeonju Bibimbap Festival has exhibitions and experience programs as colorful as the ingredients used in Bibimbap. Upon entering the Jeonju Traditional Culture Training Institute, the Jeonbuk Hansang Exhibition, featuring cute handcraft props and works by artisans from all over the country, draws attention. While appreciating the pretty bowls and props, I was guided by the sound of laughter that came from somewhere.

As I blended in with the crowd of people in groups of threes and threes, I saw a foreign tourist performing a mission to play our traditional game. I moved my hands carefully following the host's explanation, but laughed at the Gonggi(Korean pebble game) that didn't work like my heart. At the Bibap Playground, you can enjoy traditional games such as Gonggi(Korean pebble game) and Tuho, and at the Bibap Experience Zone, you can try making your own cute crafts.

When you are working hard and your stomach is hungry, go to the Bibap food court along the Cheonbyeon-gil area to taste a variety of exotic and Bibim dishes. The Jeonju Bibimbap Festival is a truly colorful ‘Jeonju Taste’ festival to see, taste, enjoy, and experience.
