Ajung Lake in Wua-dong 1-ga was originally called Ajung Reservoir (Ingyo Reservoir).
It was a large reservoir with a maximum surface area of 26.05ha and a capacity of 1,388,000㎥.
As the demand for water for farming reduced, the municipal government renovated Ajung Lake to create a pleasant space for citizens in March 2015 and changed the name to Ajung Lake to make it a space for the protecting ecosystem.
