Various art independent movies and video culture contents in one place!

In the data reading room located on the first floor, independent and artistic movies DVD and Korean classic movies VOD are free to enjoy. Jeonju Film Festival and other film-related books are also available to gain in-depth knowledge of movies. In addition, the special exhibition room presents exhibitions that provide various synesthetic experiences that can be linked to film festivals and video culture.

The special exhibition room has presented various special exhibitions since its opening. Art contents not limited to genres were exhibited through various media, but are not currently operated due to preparations for the Jeonju International Film Festival.

As a place that shows various contents related to movies, posters of the previous Jeonju International Film Festival can be seen on the wall at the fourth floor of Jeonju Digital Independent Cinema. Viewing sensuous and unique posters also provides one pleasure.

Jeonju Digital Independent Film Center serves as a channel for Korean/International independent and artistic film screening. The only independent art film hall in Jeollabuk-do Province is a cultural complex that communicates with the audience through independent films and classical films and holds seminars, forums, and lectures. Jeonju Digital Independent Cinema prohibits eating when watching a movie and does not turn on the lights until the end credits are up. There are not many seats, but it is the best place for audiences who want to enjoy the movie in a pleasant environment.

Currently, previous films of the Jeonju International Film Festival and recent works of Italian films that have been loved internationally for more than a decade are now screening. When the Jeonju International Film Festival begins, you can meet numerous entries here again.

In the space next to the ticket box, there is also a lounge where visitors can wait before the movie starts. Visitors can relax in this space, and posters with autographs of their favorite directors and actors can also be found. Another good news for Jeonju travelers is that this is a facility for free use of Jeonbuk Tour Pass, so you can watch the movie for free if you visit after purchasing Jeonbuk Tour Pass.

Cat documentary, "Cats' Apartment"

A documentary by director Jeong Jae-eun, who debuted with "Take Care of My Cat," was released. It depicts the happy goodbye story of cats and residents in the reconstruction apartment complex. It is not just showing cute cats, but it makes the audience think a lot by filming whether people in the city are putting cats at risk to live in a better house. Can't we create an environment where both cats and people stay where they lived and coexist? I dream of the happiness of the cute cats I encounter in the alleys of the city.

Summary

Hae-soo works in a factory in the morning and in a restaurant in the evening. One day, she gets a death certificate by a doctor in a distant neighborhood.
