Ajung Lake

Ajung Lake was originally used to supply water for farming. It was called Ajung Reservoir (Ingyo Reservoir). As the demand for water for farming reduced, citizens formed a trail, and a floating deck was made. Then, Ajung Lake was completely renovated and became a wonderful lake for the citizens to rest. Performances are held on the floating deck. The scenery of the lake is beautiful from the cafes surrounding it. The nightscape of Ajung Lake presents unique scenery as one of the most famous nightscape spots in Jeonju.

Baekseok Lake

Walk into Baekseok Village in the Eco-City, and you will meet Baekseok Lake, which was completely hidden before the construction of the new city. On the second floor of a café with an unhampered view over the lake, the glittering waves of Baekseok Lake and willow trees shake with the wind. The lake looks like a European landscape painting from the post-impressionism age. The lake presents a more sentimental atmosphere in the summer because of the fully bloomed lotus flowers.
