□ Synopsis

At the end of the Joseon Dynasty, when Empress Myeongseong was assassinated and dark energy was aiming for Emperor Gojong, Ms. Han, the court lady of Suragan, also left the palace and returned to her hometown of Jeonju, swept away by the pain of history. With wounds in her heart, she gives up her passion for food and lives in seclusion.

Time passed, and Joseon’s national fortune was showing its end. However, the common people of Nammun market, Jeonju, were firmly protecting their lives with tough vitality.

One day, as she was laying low and keeping her distance from people, she had a fateful encounter through Sani, who was running a bookstore. She met the ingredient characters Ssari, Mugi, Jang-i, Muri, Nari, and Kong-i from the Jeonbuk region, and she opened her eyes to the true taste and value of food.

At the time, evil forces threatening the market proposed a cooking competition over the market's commercial power. The pride and survival of Jeonju people were at stake.

The people of Jeonju came to beg court lady Han to represent Jeonju Nammun market.

Can court lady Han win the food competition to protect the reputation of Jeonju, the best-tasting town in Korea, and become the hope of the people of Jeonju Nammun market?
