    One of the top three traditional liquors of the Joseon Dynasty, Igangju is a premium traditional distilled spirit that embodies Jeonju's unique aroma. It was originally served to esteemed guests in royal and aristocratic households. Distilled soju is infused with refreshing pear, pungent ginger, turmeric (a royal tribute in the Joseon era) and an herb called ulgeum, spicy-sweet cinnamon, and acacia honey to smooth the swallow, then aged for over a year. It boasts a distinct fragrant aroma and a clean, refreshing aftertaste. Igangju not only holds symbolic significance on ancestral ritual tables but also serves as an impeccable formal gift to convey gratitude.
