Built in Aug. 2004, Seunggwangjae, the traditional Hanok in the Jeonju Hanok Village, is the house of the last prince Yi Seok of the Great Han Empire.

 

Seunggwangjae means ‘pass on the light’ and expresses that the house inherits ‘Gwangmu’ the era of King Gojong of the Great Han Empire.

 

Seunggwangjae provides a variety of royal culture experience programs, including Knowing Joseon History, Learning Royal Tea Etiquette, and Learning Royal Etiquette.
